Roadside Attractions

In my neighborhood, I am constantly finding a special kind of graffiti art. They are always spray-painted pictures, but the artist(s) have obviously used some sort of stencil. I don't know who creates these pictures, or indeed if there is more than one person who does so, but I really like running across new ones.

I have no idea what this is supposed to be.

This is one of my favorites. Science is a methodology that allows us to seek natural explanations for phenomena observed in the natural world. Recently, proponents of intellegent design have proposed that super-natural phenomena (such as a supreme creater) can be used to explain the patterns we see in nature. Being a biologist, I see this graffiti as a statement against intellegent design.

Maybe money does grow on trees? Unfortunately, these have not stood up to the weather and now can just be barely seen.

Today I found two new ones
MST3K
Boba Fett

I wish the graffiti in our neighborhood was so artistic and thought provoking - believe me it is NOT!
