Another old knitting project
I found these pictures today of an old finished object and I wanted to share them. This is a knitted headband I made for a friend whose favorite flower is the Trillium.
Hey Jennifer, I found your blog (thanks to Lisa). Now I can see your knitting projects virtually... ah, the world feels smaller and cozier now. But I still miss knitting nights. :-/
Hey! It looks like not only Trillium, but the species I grew up knowing as "wake-robin."
very cool. I should do some kind of botanical knitting sometime. I have a vague idea of using a grass-seed-head-like lace pattern for some socks, but I've never quite been motivated to sit down and figure it out.
